User's instructions ART. PS01/A - PS02/A

1.  In order to open the cap it’s necessary to make a slight pressure downside and at the same time unscrew it anticlockwise. When you exercise pressure on the cap, a valve opens and enables the coming out of the pressure present in the boiler. To close the cap, exercise the same slight pressure and  screw it clockwise till you can’t screw anymore.

2. Unscrew the cap and fill in the boiler with maximum 2 lt. of water, using the special funnel and paying attention that it doesn't overflow.

3.    Plug the iron in the socket outlet, switch on the "Caldaia (boiler)"  and the "Ferro (iron)" buttons.

4.   Put the temperature regulator of the iron on the position " °°° " , that is to say on the position "cotton"

5.  Wait till the red light (indicator of boiler pressure) gets off. It takes about 15 min. During ironing it's normal if it goes on every now and again.

6. Press the steam button on the iron

7.  It's possible to regulate the desired quantity of steam turning the handle situated on the external chase of the machine.

8.  If during ironing the steam flux ceases and the water light goes on, it means that there's no more water in the boiler. In order to start ironing again, switch off the "caldaia" button, slowly unscrew the security cap, verifying before unscrewing it completely that there is no more steam in the iron. To verify this, just press the red steam button situated on the iron itself. Plug off the iron and, after 5 minutes, fill in the boiler with possible warm water (back to point 1).

9. The first time you press the steam button after switching on the machine, a pressure fall may happen. This is due to the filling in of the internal iron conduits. To obtain maximum steam, please wait the switching off of the button.

 NOTE:

·           Never leave the machine unattended when it's plugged in.

·           The iron reaches high temperatures and maintains them for about 15 minutes also after it has been plugged out. Be careful so that you don't get burnt.

The feeding plug must be disconnected from the outlet before filling in the tank with water.

·           Never remove the tank locking cap while the machine is running and always check, before removing it, that no steam is coming out of the iron.

·           The machine is provided with a thermal stop mechanism which must only be replaced by authorised technicians. Therefore, if you need to replace it, please contact one of our help desks.

·           The tank locking cap must be replaced with original spare parts.

For a longer life and better machine performance, we suggest that you use only normal water. 

To clean the tank from limestone, we suggest that you periodically rinse it only with normal water (every 15/20 litres of water used).

MAINTENANCE:

This type of tank allows you to carry out the maintenance by yourself.

Pour in at least 1 lt of tap water, screw the safety cap, shake the boiler and by emptying it, you'll notice that pieces of limestone will come out. This is because the boiler is made of stainless steel.

It's not necessary to repeat this operation every time the iron is used. It's sufficient to do so every 15/20 litres of water used.
