USER'S INSTRUCTIONS FOR STEAM GENERATOR ART. PG 018

 In order to open the cap it’s necessairy to make a slight pressure downside and contemporarely unscrew it anticlockwise. When you exercise pressure on the cap, a valve opens and enables the coming out of the pressure present in the boiler.

To close the cap, exercise the same slight pressure and screw it clockwise till you can’t screw anymore.

  Before turning on the generator always connect the iron. You can not connect the iron if the generator is turned on.

  1.      Unscrew the cap (A) and fill the tank with water ( max 5 lit). Take care that the water does not overflow. Close the cap(A) making a slight pressure.

2.      Plug the generator in.

3.      Press the boiler buttons (B1)+(B2). It will light when  is on. Now the boiler starts heating the water to produce then the steam.

4.      Wait until the light of  the buttons (B1) + (B2) goes off. Now the steam is ready and the manometer (M) will indicate  the  pressure level (max 4-4.7 bar). 

5.      Connect the flexible tube  Mod. GV 520  with the socket  (D) Press and push the flexible tube until a  slight noise is heard. To the steam tube is possible to connect one of the brushes or one of the accessories. Connect one of the brushes or one of the accessories to the handle, then regulate the quantity of steam with the hand grip (H)

6.      To obtain the steam, first press the  steam switch (C), then press the button (0-1) which is on the handle of the flexible steam tube (GV 520). To have better performances, direct the steam first on a rag until the steam distribution is uniform.

7.        For taking away the brush or the accessories press the red knob and pull.

  NOTE

-         Make sure that the two elements are placed well together, so that you do not risk to get burned.  Before changing brushes make sure that the steam switch (C) is turned off.

-         When all the water is almost consumed the red light will go on (E)

-         Before refilling the boiler with water make sure that there is no steam left in the brush, and plug the machine out of the socket outlet (E). Press the stam button in order to get rid of all the steam and then start from point 1.

-         The first time you press the steam button after switching on the machine, a pressure fall may happen. This is due to the filling in of the internal iron conduits. To obtain maximun steam, please wait the switching off of the buttons (B1+B2).

-         Never leave the machine unattended when it’s plugged in.

-         The feeding plug must be disconnected from the outlet before filling in the tank with water.

-         Never remove the tank locking cap while the machine is running and always check, before removing it, that no steam is coming out of the brush.

-         The machine is provided with a thermal stop mechanism which must only be replaced by authorized technicians. Therefore, if you need to replace it, please contact one of our help desks.

-         The tank locking cap must be replaced with original spare parts.

-         For any repais, always contact our authorized repair centres.

  For a longer life and better machine performance, we suggest that you use only normal water. To clean the tank from limestone, we suggest that you periodically rinse it only with normal water (every 35/40 litres of water used).

Before using the machine to clean leather or particular clothes as well as wooden surfaces, read the manifacturer’s instructions and always make a test on a hidden part of the product or on a sample.
